Need for Donated Bicycles

Bike Share Program in the works for drivers with suspended licenses.

Faulkner County District Court would like to pilot a bike share program for drivers who have had their licenses suspended.

What is a bike share program?

Bike sharing is an innovative transportation program, ideal for short distance point-to-point trips providing users the ability to pick up a bicycle at any self-serve bike-station and return it to any other bike station located within the system’s service area.

The FCDC pilot program is planned to start small – six bikes with checkout & drop-off to take place during business hours. A potential for scaling up the program based on use, need, and partnerships is being considered.
